You’ll get to:
This is only a sample of what you’ll learn. Throughout the driver education experience, students will have the opportunity to learn and master many more basic and advance skills.
North Carolina state law requires teen drivers to have 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of documented behind the wheel driving instruction. Our curriculum will teach teen drivers everything they need to know. Teen drivers are educated on traffic laws and safe driving practices. Classroom instructions cover traffic regulations, road signs, and defensive driving practices. Behind the wheel driving lessons begin in large empty parking lots and progress to residential roads. As students become more skilled and confident, lessons progress to busier streets and highways as determined by the instructor.
"Honestly this has been much better than the large class my daughter attended at a public school during the summer!"
"I would like to say that you will be pleased. If you need help or assistance with driving, it is money well spent."
"I highly recommend Above Average Driving school to everyone."
"I have two teenagers whom took a driving class here and I am one pleased mother! The professionalism, accuracy of driving material and knowledge was all a win for my kids and both kids passed their DMV exam on their first try."
"Definitely was a great experience! As an inexperienced driver (who understood all traffic laws and had my permit), I was able to apply my hours of driving and instructor-taught strategies to the test and earn my license with after hours of Above Average driving instructed training."
