- Practice properly applying the brakes and coming to a complete stop
- Develop road skills and techniques to prepare you for the DMV road test
- Practice turning, lane shifting, parking, backing, and other basic maneuvers
- Learn how to drive defensively
- Get used to using the turning signals
- Learn how to properly approach an intersection
This is only a sample of what you’ll learn. Throughout the driver education experience, students will have the opportunity to learn and master many more basic and advance skills.
WE TEACH TEEN & ADULT DRIVERS TO BE SAFE ON THE ROAD
North Carolina state law requires teen drivers to have 30 hours of classroom and 6 hours of documented behind the wheel driving instruction. Our curriculum will teach teen drivers everything they need to know. Teen drivers are educated on traffic laws and safe driving practices. Classroom instructions cover traffic regulations, road signs, and defensive driving practices. Behind the wheel driving lessons begin in large empty parking lots and progress to residential roads. As students become more skilled and confident, lessons progress to busier streets and highways as determined by the instructor.
