Adult Road Tests
Road Tests for Adults
We are excited to announce that beginning March 16th, 2026, our school will be offering road tests for adults. A valid NC learner's permit and printed proof of insurance documents are required for all road tests. We cannot accept an electronic copy. Each road test will be $85 per attempt. Any retest will require an additional $75 payment.
Only students who have previously completed a training package with our school may contact the main office to inquire about car rental if necessary. Please note that car rental is not guaranteed—approval is based on successful completion of training and an instructor’s recommendation based on your performance.
To book a car rental, you MUST call the main office directly. Car rentals cannot be scheduled online. However, you are also welcome to use your own vehicle for the road test if preferred.
Car Rental Prerequisites:
- Complete a training package with our school
- Receive an instructor’s recommendation for rental approval
- Call the main office to schedule your appointment
- Register for non-owner’s insurance. Bring your learner’s permit and proof of insurance on the day of your test
All road tests will begin and end at our main office location. While we do allow usage of remaining training hours for road test, this will only cover car rental. An $85 will still be charged for the road test if you choose to allot training hours for the car rental.
To schedule your road test, please call the main office directly for rental or book through our booking site if you are using your own vehicle. Appointments must be made at least 24 hours in advance, as required by the State of North Carolina. Please note that walk-ins and same-day appointments cannot be accommodated.
